Fig. 043 — Figure 20260619-102 / Playable Terrain Inside a Neural Audio Codec

Findings:A map becomes an instrument once the hand can argue with it.

  • Codec ridge
  • Controller trace
  • Sound biopsy
  • Patch-cable tendon

Generation protocol

A Wet Lab colour close-up, over-the-hands angle: gloved hands trace a controller path across a living latent-audio terrain, a small topographic organ whose ridges are spectrogram tissue and Max patch cables. Deep near-black around, hard key, clear analogue tube-amp warmth; felt pads, copper contacts, clean glass. The terrain is strange; the handling is tender. One cold teal grade; the single accent is a short row of ultraviolet monitor lights marking local sound clusters. A hexagonal honeycomb lattice is the real support grid beneath; one small mis-struck Bureau seal. Numbered callouts: (1) codec ridge, (2) controller trace, (3) local sound biopsy. One absurdly domestic prop: a worn headphone adapter in an egg cup. No gore. Output in exactly 1122 x 1402 px, 4:5 portrait ratio.
